Who is Duygu Simsek?
My name is Duygu Simsek, and I am a graduate student at Bilkent University, Ankara, Turkey studying Computer and Instructional Technology Teacher Education. (You can check where my university is under this page from google map.) My program is a five-year combined undergraduate and graduate program, which leads to an M.A. diploma. During my study at Bilkent University, I placed in 2 times honor and 5 times high honor student list. Besides honor degrees, 100% merit scholarships awarded by Bilkent University depending upon my success of ranked in the first 1% level between students within the CTE department in the academic years 2008-2009 and 2009-2010.
In future, after my graduation, I am planning to make my PhD in computer science education, "educational technology" research area, hopefully in U.S.A for September, 2011.
I' also a member and a vice president of BilWIC (Bilkent University ACM-W Women in Computing Student Chapter) student club at my university.
I'm also very interested in traveling, cooking, skiing and human/social psychology.
